Street Cleansing Operative DriverLocation:LambethJob type:Permanent, full-timeWorking Hours:Average 35 hours per week, 4 on 2 off, 2pm-10pmSalary: £10.85 per hour + £43.40 per week shift allowanceSercos Environmental Services provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Lambeth. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse and Recycling and Street Cleansing staff, we ensure that streets,homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve. And right now, we have an opportunity for like-minded Street Cleansing Operatives to join our teamof essential workers and help us make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.You will be the public face of Sercos Environmental Services team in the community.As a Street Cleansing Operative Driver you will set off on your pre-planned route in a 3.5t van, carrying out a range of activities designed to maintain clean streets inthe area. Duties will include scraping away weeds, manually sweeping and shovelling silt, cleaning dog mess, removing flyposting and graffiti, emptying litter and dog bins and the removal of fly tipped waste.
