A family of 52 educational institutions serving over 28,000 students from a variety of backgrounds, our academies seek to close the educational gap that exists between disadvantaged students and their more privileged counterparts.We are now looking for a Pensions Officer to join our friendly team.The Benefits- Salary of £24,279 - £26,076 per annum- Highly competitive defined benefit pension scheme- Flexible working pattern- A continuous professional development programme to support your progression- 25 days’ holiday per annum (rising to 30 with service) plus Bank HolidaysWithin a supportive and fast-paced environment, you will have the chance to increase your knowledge, learn about public sector payroll and take ownership of our pension administration activities.This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work with people at all levels of our organisation and play an important role in the smooth running of our charity.So, if you are looking to develop a rewarding career in pensions, we would love to hear from you.The RoleAs our Pensions Officer, you will support, and eventually lead, our pension administration activities.Reporting to the Deputy Pensions Manager, you will:- Act as the first point of contact for pensions-related queries- Make sure that pensions forms are completed and sent in a timely manner for all new starters- Keep abreast of developments regarding pensions- Escalate any issues to the Deputy Pensions Manager- Assist with any team projectsAbout YouTo join us as a Pensions Officer, you will need:- Previous pensions experience- Experience of working on an integrated payroll and/or HR system, ideally within education- At a minimum, GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)- A keen eye for detailWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
