The pupils who attend this provision have been taken out of mainstream education but not necessarily for behavioural issues. Their students have a range of SEN from ADHD to ASDetc, which is controlled medically. Some of which have not been diagnosed with SEN. When they step into the provision they have purpose and strive to be the best versions of themselves. SLT, Teachers and support staff are exceptional and embrace the Headteachers high expectations and vision! Any new members of staff (support or teaching) have to be passionate about education, creative, professional and pro-active not reactive.A fantastic opportunity has arisen for either an English Graduate or an English Tutor who have a clear passion for teaching English literature and language. This role is to start immediately. This is the opportunity to put your *stamp* in the department and make a difference. You must be able to build a great rapport with KS3 & KS4 students and able to engage them well in their classes. Class sizes are small so this would give you great opportunity to work with them on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
