Job Description

CYBER SECURITY DIRECTORCLIENT SERVICES - DIGITAL Location: LONDONSalary: Up to £220,000 + package DOEWhat youll doThe Cybersecurity team focuses on advising the clients on preventing and responding to the ever-increasing threats faced by their businesses. The companys approach is business-centric; helping clients to understand, assess and manage their security riskin business terms and to align their security investment and resources to their business risk appetite. The Cyber team works independently, as well as alongside the Digital, Enterprise Improvement, and Turnaround and Restructuring practices.The growing Cyber team currently has an opportunity for a Director who is highly experienced, energetic and impactful in their approach. Cyber is a core part of the companys growth strategy, as such you will be joining a highly motivated global team withalmost limitless opportunities to work across industry segments.Directors lead and/or co-lead our small, focused teams in delivering projects. They work closely with MDs to ensure the successful delivery of all elements of client engagements and often collaboratively with the Directors across other areas of the business.They will sometimes work across a small number of projects at any given time bringing a flexible and adaptable approach.As part of the cyber team you can expect to lead clients on a range of complex engagements across the domains of cybersecurity from risk assessment to post-breach response. The nature of the business is fast paced, and they often work in the high-pressureenvironment of mergers and acquisitions and their Directors work in a hands-on, delivery focused manner.Key responsibilities and accountabilitiesTo understand and advise on the status and nature of our clients cybersecurity operations, utilising common frameworks (NIST, ISF & ISO) and independently conducting maturity-based assessments.Collaborate and lead colleagues and clients in:- Completion of business-oriented cyber risk assessments.- Development of risk appetite aligned to business objectives.- Performing analysis of cybersecurity and technology controls.- Security road map design, development and costing.

  • Conduct security due-diligence assessments in support of mergers and acquisitions, particularly for private equity clients.
  • Lead the development of detailed and costed security programme plans based on strategic objectives, available resources and risk appetite; and to develop security service portfolios and operating models.
  • Act in an advisory or interim role while managing the delivery of security road maps/programmes.
  • Deliver projects alongside the CISO in the delivery of their leadership, programme and operational responsibilities; and to be comfortable operating at this level.
What youll need
  • Bachelors degree preferred alongside relevant technical qualifications (eg. CISSP or equivalent)
  • A combination of blue-chip security consulting experience and complimentary industry leadership experience in a CISO, BISO or security programme leadership role or similar would be highly appealing.
  • A demonstrated expertise in Security Architecture and/or Security Operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience of leading, shaping and delivering a wide range of projects of different scales and complexity; Programme or project management office (PMO) experience desirable.
  • Highly competent in presentation and basic analytics tools - PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel

  • Fluency in English and fluency in another language a bonus. German, French, Spanish preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel Monday to Friday.
  • Work authorization as a citizen of an EU Country with passport or holding a passport and a European work visa that allows for unrestricted travel.
