We are really excited to tell you about the community caseload midwifery job opportunities that we have available at Guys and St Thomas Hospital. We are working together to support recruitment of midwives into continuity teams in line with Better Births targets and our existing teams.We have been successfully providing continuity of carer to women and their families over the past 20 years. We have ambitious plans to continue to expand and build on our established caseload teams.Our teams work in various models to ensure women are receiving continuity during pregnancy, intrapartum and the postnatal period, providing flexibility for staff to work in different patterns depending on individual needs.We have opportunities in our Intergrated caseload model team which involves a combination of hospital based shifts and community clinics/home visits. This approach supports continuity throughout the antenatal/intrapartum/postnatal period (this model of care does not involve on call duties)We are proud that the majority of our senior midwifery staff have worked as caseload midwives bringing a wealth of clinical experience and leadership to support you.
