Strive Supply Chain are delighted to be working with a fantastically creative & dynamic events / exhibitions company.CAD technician / Draughtsman for Set ConstructionLondon [Lambeth borough]c£32- £38k + BensThe Client:Based in the London borough of Lambeth.They are a leading set production company supplying set and decoration to a wide range of product launches, fashion shows, exhibitions, and private events Primarily they provide design, scenery, lighting and AV.As part of the design team they now need a candidate who is looking to develop their skills under the guidance of an experienced CAD manager to progress their career.Role Summary:Our client is looking for a candidate who can assist design and deliver exiting projects to their clients, working on product launches, fashion shows, exhibitions and parties. The role will involve technical knowledge and experience in using Auto CAD, Sketchup, Illustrator and Photoshop.The successful candidate will:

  • Be proficient in Auto CAD/ Sketch up
  • Have a knowledge of Illustrator/ Photoshop and In Design
  • Ideally have a technical knowledge of set build
  • An eye for design, detail and finish.
This role is office based and acts as a back up to the project managers and workshop build teams. Primarily the successful candidate will be Creating client visuals for the project managers and build drawings for the construction team. The role also involvesthe creation of files and programming the CNC machine. So requires an understanding of scheduling and meeting deadlines.Office hours are 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday with additional overtime required on occasion.This is truly an outstanding opportunity.
