Job Description

Interviews for this role will be held on the 27th of February. What its like to work here Scotney Castle is a busy estate with a small, friendly, dedicated team. It is often said that two days are never the same and at Scotney this is completely true. With a Grade 1 listed country house and an ancient scheduled monument sitting alongside beautifulwoodland and romantic gardens, there is always something going new on. The Facilities Team works alongside all the different departments to protect all the buildings, collections and the supporting infrastructure as well as helping set up special events andtrails.Duties are far ranging with cross departmental working days and new skills to learn. The property has a strong focus on helping each other to provide the best visitor experience possible whilst ensuring we are protecting the historic elements for futuregenerations Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As the Facilities Co-ordinator, youll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. Youll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring highstandards are delivered and maintained at all times. Youll be assisting with the provision of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs, cleaning and caretaking duties, presentation of public areas and visitor facilities including car parksand grounds, preparation of meeting rooms and the co-ordination of back of house services such as deliveries and collections.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.   • Experience in a facilities role in a customer service environment
  • Good organisational skillsand attention to detail
  • Ability to use tools, equipment as required for the role
  • Willingness to work alongside volunteers and is able to support volunteers to perform at their best
  • Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with other departments
