Civil Engineering Project Manager, Permanent, Location Lairg Scotland, Salary £55-60K + DOEYour new companyThis multi-disciplined civil engineering contractor has been established for over 50 years. Known for delivering multi-million-pound infrastructure projects across the UK and globally. They have an excellent reputation within the industry and pride themselves on delivering their projects safely on time and within budget. The sectors they are involved with include: Wind, Water, Rail, Roads, Industrial and Aviation.Your new role As a Project Manager your job will involve planning the project delivery to meet the contract. Organising the resources to enable you to deliver the project on time and within budget. You will coordinate resources across the project delivering the key objectives. You will monitor the QA and QC reviewing according to the programme. You will take action to improve the financial and commercial returns, effectively communicating with the client and Commercial team. You will be able to programme your sub-contractors effectively, always manage health and safety on site and ensure good communications with your site team and the client.What you will need to succeedAs a Project Manager you will have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience working onsite in this job role with a main civils contractor.Windfarm experience is essential.You will be competent with MS project software. Have experience working on a large-scale Civil Engineering projects, have an excellent knowledge of health and safety environmental legislation and have a proactive approach to managing a team and problem solving.Qualifications / Experience
