This is an exciting opportunity for experienced fitters who are ideally apprentice-trained in motorhome and/or leisure vehicle building, or experience in shopfitting or kitchen / bedroom fitting to join this unique family run business with a small friendly team. The role will involve working Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) and offers a solid basic wage with opportunities for overtime as required. The company is a unique and growing specialist manufacturer of bespoke and prestige motorhomes based at Knottingley near Leeds / Wakefield, West Yorkshire. They provide revolutionary designs and their award-winning motorhomes are positioned at the premium end of the leisure vehicle market. It is a family run business with a small friendly team.After skills assessment and on the job training, you will be responsible for:- Vehicle body preparation involving metal working.- Joinery and furniture assembly/fitting- Installation of shower rooms, water and waste systems- Installation of electrical/wiring looms. - Electrical installations involving cookers, fridges, lighting and control systems- Pipework – water and gas.- General finishing work and fitment of carpet, upholstery and trim.To be successful in this role you will need to be apprentice-trained (or qualified by experience) in motorhome or leisure vehicle building (or similar trades such as shop fitting or kitchen / bedroom fitting).
