Job Description

Acumen Waste ServicesField Engineer CWRS (Clear Water Recycling Systems)Competitive salary + Company vehicle + BenefitsBased Head Office in Knottingley with frequent travel around the UKA varied role for an Oftec-qualified engineerA fantastic opportunity has come up in the Acumen family to work within our Clear Water department as a Field Engineer. This diverse role offers a different location each day of the week, servicing and maintaining our bespoke wash water recycling systemsand fuel tanks.Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out all manner of service, repairs and maintenance on CWRS separators and fuel tanks.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed on a tablet.
  • Meticulously follow Method statements.
  • Observe and comply with all safety notices and signs to ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with customers, members of the public and colleagues.
  • Upselling key components and services by carrying out site audits.
Key skills and experience:
  • Qualified in Oftec.
  • Display high concentration levels to ensure safe working practices.
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Be a great communicator.
  • Ability to work alone and in a team.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Have a flexible attitude (some weekend and night work may be required.
  • Be prepared to travel in the UK with occasional overseas travel.
  • A valid and clean driving license.
