Engineering Manager Knottingley Circa £56k + Package

  • Are you an Engineering Manager / Engineering Maintenance Manager within a large fast-paced / fast-moving production or manufacturing environment
  • Do you have experience in leading and developing Engineering & Maintenance Teams within a Fast-Paced & Highly Automation Mass Volume Production / Manufacturing environment
  • Do you have experience in delivering R+M budgets and improving the OEE, overall performance & reliability of highly automated production lines
    • If so, then please see below….Engineering Manager Knottingley Circa £56k + Package Huxley Engineering and a Global FMCG Giant are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager for their large Production Site in Knottingley (Yorkshire), owing to succession planning within the organisation and to deliver Site & Group Strategy & Objectives for 2021-22+.Reporting into the Site General Manager, the Engineering Manager will lead and deliver the engineering strategy to deliver and continuously improvement:
  • Leadership and Development of the Engineering Teams
  • Safety
  • Maintenance and Equipment Improvements,
  • Budgetary Control
    • Duties and Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager:
  • Delivering the departments and sites KPIs in respect to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People
  • Continuous improvement of line performance through the RCA and elimination of recurrent reliability issues
  • Development and implementation of the site maintenance strategy
  • Manage and deliver an R&M budget
  • Support, develop and deliver the Capex roadmap
    • Experience & Requirements for Engineering Manager Role:
  • Degree, HNC Or HND in Engineering Field
  • Prior Engineering Management & Leadership experience with an ability to lead, mentor and develop teams
  • Engineering Management / Maintenance Management experience within a fast-moving Production / Manufacture environment (Pharma, FMCG, Food etc)
  • Previous management of R&M Budgets (Circa £2m)
  • Previous Line Management experience of multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Previous experience in delivering R+M budgets and improving the OEE, overall performance & reliability of highly automated production lines
