Job Description

JS Recruitment are delighted to recruiting for a Credit Controller for our highly successful client based on the outskirts of Pontefract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive business who are recognised as market leaders in the UK and Internationally.You will control aged debt by using Business Planning reports to follow up payments of outstanding invoices.The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with an ability to deal with small independent businesses and large multinational organisations.DUTIES:

  • Monitoring overdue accounts with clients and customers.
  • Chasing debtors for payment of outstanding debts by phone and email.
  • Assisting with all queries and investigations.
  • Reviewing reports and assisting with month end activities.
  • Build and maintain customer relations to ensure cashflow is consistent.
  • Dealing with any queries from debtors with regards to outstanding invoices.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve invoices queries.
  • Provide an analysis of aged debts reports for meetings.
  • Actioning the cash allocation report.
  • Ensure targets on level of aged debt are met.
  • Raise credit / debit notes as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2 years experience working within a similar role.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Proactive and customer focused.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills with intermediate skills on excel.
  • Experience of chasing aged debt.
