Capex Project Manager Knottingley Circa £55k + Package

  • Are you a Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager / Capex Project Manager / Project Engineering Manager within a large fast-paced / fast-moving production or manufacturing environment
  • Do you have full project lifecycle experience, delivering capital projects within Engineering, Production / Manufacturing environment

    • If so, then please see below….Capex Project Manager Knottingley Circa £55k + Package Huxley Engineering and a Global FMCG Giant are looking to recruit a Capex Project Manager for their large Production Site in Knottingley, (Yorkshire), owing to succession planning within the organisation and to deliver Site & Capital Projects Strategy & Objectives for 2022+.Reporting into the Site General Manager, the Capex Project Manager will be responsible for managing and developing engineering project solutions in support of site profitability, flexibility and wider business objectives (both at site and within Group).Duties and Responsibilities of the Capex Project Manager
  • Managing and developing engineering project solutions in support of site profitability, flexibility and wider business objectives
  • Delivering multidiscipline projects to the site, within budget and to the quality/performance standards agreed
  • Managing Project Department (inc. Project Engineers & Project Managers) & large groups of contractors working on multidisciplinary projects
  • Managing the capex budget assigned to your projects, including budget cash flow, SAP reporting and forecasting
  • Manage capex budget assigned to the engineering projects, including budget cash flow, and forecast
  • Deliver optimal technology solutions to minimise production costs and improve KPIs (OEE and other)
  • Provide production process improvements to minimise OPEX
  • Deliver multidiscipline Projects for the site up to value of £25m
    • Experience & Requirements for Capex Project Manager Role:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil or Process Engineering Field
  • Prior Capex Project Engineering Management & Leadership experience with an ability to lead, mentor and develop project teams (Direct & Indirect)
  • Capital Project Management / Capex Project Management experience within a fast-moving Production / Manufacture environment (Pharma, FMCG, Food etc), including financial, contractual & HSE responsibility for Projects (Capex & Opex)
  • Previous Matrix experience of multidisciplinary project engineering teams
