Cambridgeshire Local Medical Committee Ltd Cambs LMC is the body in statute (successive NHS Acts) that represents, supports and advises every GP and GP Practice team across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.We have a wonderful opportunity for a new full time member of our close-knit supportive and flexible team, to join us on a permanent basis as Office Manager and Executive Assistant.We are currently primarily working from home, but you will need access to a car and be comfortable commuting regularly to CB23. Key accountabilities: Responsible for:- Ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, acting as the main focal point for all aspects of the running of the office site- Ensuring the views of the LMC Ltd office team are represented appropriately when representing the LMC to constituents and external stakeholders- Managing all correspondence received by the LMC office, ensuring timely follow-up to enquiries- Managing company bookings and appointments internally and externally in the office calendar, providing a welcome to external guests to the office and being the primary contact on site for local tenants and third parties- Producing and updating electronic address books and contacts databases, including those for the elections, liaising with local practices, members and constituents over changes- Managing invoices and making payments into/from the company account under the oversight of the Chief Executive and maintaining such records for the treasurer/accountant- Ensuring communications to the Committee and the Board are circulated in a professional and timely fashion including elections (working with the returning officer)- Ensuring the office folders and relevant data storage is well organised and up to date- Managing the IT network, hardware and software needs of the organisation and troubleshooting problems liaising with the off-site IT support centre- Keeping the IT networks up to date, implementing developments where necessary- Liaising with third parties around event planning for the LMC- Ensuring the website is kept up to date and placing adverts online- Managing the office calendars and maintaining a register of annual leave and other leave for the Chief Executive- Acting as executive assistant to the CEO and executive team
