Job Description

You are applying to join an exciting new setup manufacturer of solid dosage form products. The company is based in Bristol, but we already have a big network of distributors and customers in MENA and our aim is to expand exponentially.The applicant, in collaboration with the production, quality and operation team, will be responsible for the maintenance of the machinery, instruments and facility and operation of machinery and packaging process.Salary: Negotiable with bonuses.Maintenance of machinery and instruments in term of:

  • Maintenance of machinery which include daily basis maintenance and simple repairing if required of the production line equipment such as tablet compression machine and packing line following the training program, manuals, documents and videos conference supplied by the supplier.
  • Maintenance of laboratory instruments such as stability chamber following training program, manuals, documents and videos conference supplied by the supplier.
    • Maintenance of the facility in term of:
  • In collaboration with operation manager (OM): Follow up on Repairing/refurbishing the building by contracting and supervising builders/electricians etc.
  • in collaboration with the QA and OM: Check on cleaning the facility by supervising the cleaners and ensure the environment/building is hygienic.
  • Collaborate with OM on ordering/purchasing and organising the delivery of Furniture, etc
    • Operational duties:
  • Operating and managing, with the team, the packing process of the bottles.
  • Operating and managing, with the team, the boxing process of the bottles.
  • Managing, with the team, the movement of the raw materials and final products from/to the store.
  • Helping the team (OM, QA) to organise the shipment of any orders by ensuring the accuracy of the orders in term of quantities and items and coordination with the forwarders.
    • Requirements:
  • Have good knowledge and industrial experience on operating and managing of machinery following the SOP and operation manual.
  • Have a bachelor degree (preferable) or A level.
  • Have good knowledge of the IT services.
  • Have good understanding of hygienic environments.
  • Have a written communication skill.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills, friendly and approachable, good communication skills willing to help.
  • Strong ability to work independently.
  • Basic ability to produce reports.
  • Have understanding of
  • Flows (personnel, materials, components, products, equipment, samples and waste)
  • Systems and equipment (process, control)
