An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Sirona Quality Improvement Team for a Knowledge Officer.Educated to Degree or postgraduate level in library or information studies the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all staff and students at Sirona have access to the best evidence available via the Library and Knowledge Service (LKS)The postholder will provide professional literature searches and develop a professional knowledge mobilisation service. They will work as a member of selected multi-disciplinary teams to provide highly specific, patient-centred, evaluated information at the time and place of need.The successful candidate will use expert knowledge of online searching to provide comprehensive evidence searches for members of the clinical teams and other users of the library service and will utilise highly developed appraisal skills to select and evaluate relevant information for users.
