Job Description

Services Applications Engineer required. My client is a leading provider of bespoke casting equipment to the Aluminium industry and specialise in providing solutions tailored to each clients bespoke specifications. The ideal candidate willhave a background in Castings / Forgings, will be proficient with Inventor, will be experienced with working to ISO:9000 and ISO:27000 standards and will be based locally to Kingswinford.Services Applications Engineer Position Overview

  • Reviewing client RFQs following assignment to a project by the Services Manager to determine project scope
  • Carrying out first off concept design calculations
  • Reviewing Engineering drawings received from clients to aid in developing new solutions
  • Preparing estimates and proposals for individual project requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers to assess component suitability and garner accurate prices
  • Assisting Spares Team with quoting and drawing approvals, as required from time-to-time
Services Applications Engineer Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Proficient in the use of Inventor
  • Experienced in working to ISO9000 and ISO27000 standards
  • Previous experience in Forgings / Castings would be beneficial
  • Experience producing Estimations, Engineering calculations, specifications and Project timing plans
  • Prepared to travel with the role when required
  • Full Driving licence
  • Valid Passport
  • Based locally to Kingswinford
Services Applications Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
  • 8:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 13:00 Friday
  • 28 days holiday
  • Private Medical cover
  • Pension
