Job Description

Do you want to work for a company that lives and breathes their valuesAre you an experienced Machine Operatorwho wants to settle and grow within a businessI am currently recruiting for a Global manufacturer with an exciting opportunity to join their business on a temporary to permanent contract within the Warehouse as a Machine Operator/ CutterThis role will be responsible on a day to day basis for:

  • Set up and operate Rod cutting machines and Universal cutting machines correctly and by following the operations manual and adhere to Health and Safety.
  • Make sure that all the jobs are jobbed on and off correctly, using I.D provided
  • Ensure all modification are carried out as per order requirements
  • Follow all work order instruction in line with quality processes
  • Ensure correct disposal of recycled plastic
This role will require previous experience within a similar role - the successfulcandidate will demonstrate the below skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing and able to work additional hours as required by the business
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines
  • Willing and able to perform a variety of tasks in support of the short and long term goals of the business
