We want to hear from Class 1 Drivers who take pride in their work and vehicles to join our busy transport team at our Dudley site. Working Sunday to Thursday for 47.5 hours per week from 21.30 ~ 07.30 daily with 1 hour lunch. We offer acompetitive starting salary of £36,200 pa plus overtime rising in increments at 6, 12 and 24 months. Due to ambitious plans our well-established Company is growing and we are investing in our fleet to meet increased demand for our products. The majority ofour fleet will be renewed this year with last few units planned to be replaced by the beginning of 2023.Roles and Responsibilities of our Class 1 Driver:This role will be to collect customers materials for our main site in Canterbury and trunk these back to Dudley site overnight and then offload these in the warehouse on your return. This is a very important part of our business, and we need someone reliablewith a good attendance record to join our team.You will be responsible for your vehicle, load, security of your load, reporting defects and accurate recording of deliveries.Experience Required:- You must have experience of driving in the UK.- A valid CPC drivers qualification.- Digital tachograph card experience.- Experience of multi dropping or supplying goods to the construction and engineering industry would be an advantage, but not essential.Benefits include:- Annual Holiday allowance of 25 days after 2 years (plus 8 days bank holidays), (20 days first 2 years)- 4 times death in service life assurance- Pension contributions- Overtime opportunitiesAbout us:ParkerSteel Limited are a processor and distributor of multi metal and engineering tool products to UK industry.
