Job Description

De Lacy Executive have been retained to recruit an Agricultural/Recreational Estate Manager for a well known Country Estate in the Midlands. This exciting opportunity gives the candidate the chance to work in a historic and prestigious setting which attracts over 250,000 visitors per year.The estate is used to educate visitors and the general public how farming land and animals produces their essential food and resources therefore a passion and knowledge for agriculture and country affairs is essential for this role.The position will involve management of the farmyard team as well as the sole responsibility for the livestock, animal welfare and the impressive breeding programme on the estate. Furthermore the successful candidate will need to be organised and forward thinking in order to continue the development of the Estate, Farmyard and Adventure Playground.Candidate Requirements

Team management experience

A strong animal husbandry background would be a distinct advantage

A full UK Driving License

Experience of the general management of a farm park or visitor attraction would be advantageous but not essential

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DBS check however this will be arranged by the estate.

A passion for rural affairs
