Job Description

Daily Rate: £100Location: Southwest London (Kingston)Contract Type: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm (full time)Duration: Long TermThe successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Physical, Mental, Sensory Impairments.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff and parents/careers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
The role will consist of:
  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to varied learning activities.
  • Classes that incorporate different learning methods/techniques - visual aided learning, sensory learning/play and aqua therapy.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student - teacher rapport.
  • Support aspects of personal and intimate care
  • Attending weekly onsite CPD (Continuing Personal Development
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
