The roleWe are currently looking for a North Sea Ports Manager to be the lead manager for our ports for the UK North Sea routes. This is a brand new role for the organisation that will lead the port operation functions for Hull, Teesport and Tilbury and is instrumentalin making sure that the strategic and operational direction meets the companys vision alongside a fantastic customer experience.This role reports to the North Sea Director and will directly manage 7 members of staff across the port duty manager, admin and H&S. The wider team covers the day to day operations of the port across the three locations through an 18 hours per day 7 daysper week operation.You will be making sure that the port operations are delivered in a safe and efficient manner, meeting the commercial requirements, deadlines and customer service levels. You will be part of the leadership group across the business and so you will be expectedto exemplify leadership behaviour, and be an example to the team and wider business.Hull Port is our second most important location which covers both a tourist and freight operation and provides a key stream of income to the business. You will be developing and implementing your strategy keeping Hull Port as the central pillar but makingsure that you are integrating this strategy to include Teesport and Tilbury.This is an instrumental and strategically important role in the organisation that will allow us to take advantage of upcoming opportunities. You will also be central to the organisational change the company is going to through being an agent for change acrossall three ports.The personSo who are we looking for
