Job Description

Our client is a highly reputable creative agency, catering to a range of household-names in looking after their marketing, advertising and PR needs. They are looking for a mostly-remote, experienced HR Manager to support their growth plans and HR requirements,and the role will be on a full time basis. You will have line management responsibilities for one HR administrator. You will need to travel to Kingston Upon Thames several times a month.The key role responsibilities include:

  • Experience in an international company, with multicultural teams, and being able to collaborate with different departments.
  • Ability to be agile and flexible to help develop new programmes within the HR business function
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonableaccommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competenciesrequired for openings.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Understands and can guide learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance (in collaboration with HR partner).
Skills and experience required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Admirable interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Diligent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
In return you will receive a salary of between £50,000-£60,000 (depending on experience).
