An educational organisation in Kingston is looking to recruit 2 x Communications Advisors for a 6 month project. The Communications Advisors will provide specialist communications support for the workstreams responsible for implementing and delivering theorganisations newly launched strategy.These Communication Advisors will be required for a 6 month period to cover the project and will be paid on a day rate basis via Reed - £250 per day. The positions are open now and the organisation hopes to have the successful candidates recruited within thenext 2 weeks.Please note these roles are hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.Duties include. Develop a strong understanding of the needs and interests of different audience groups, including staff, students, alumni, external partners and other key stakeholders. Draft informative and engaging messaging and briefings aligned to project objectives and milestones, adapting style and tone of voice as necessary and negotiating sign off with all key stakeholders involved. Ensure all audiences remain fully updated and involved in the implementation of the strategy and understand the role they have to play in supporting the future success. Advise on appropriate communications and engagement approaches to achieve desired audience reach and interaction. Distil complex information into relatable written and digital content, readily accessible to target audiences. Remain mindful of the sensitivities of organisational change and adapt messaging accordingly where necessary. Always handle confidential information and discussions with senior members of staff and other stakeholders with discretion Represent the Brand and Communications function at key project meetings, ensuring project teams and sponsors are kept regularly appraised of significant outputs and outcomes.
