We are looking for a full-time RMN working a minimum of 4 days per week to work on a 6-month contract, providing high-quality care and support to young adults with mental health conditions such as eating disorders,, and substance misuse. You will work aspart of a multidisciplinary teamYou will also work closely with the patients, helping them to understand their condition and empowering them to take control of their recovery.As an RMN, you will be responsible for:- Assessing and planning care for patients based on their individual needs and preferences- Administering medication and monitoring the results of treatment- Providing evidence-based individual and group therapy, such as cognitive behaviour therapy- Organising and participating in social and recreational activities to enhance patients social skills and wellbeing- nurse who will be responsible for managing the home, infection control of the catheter, doing the rotas, managing the medication, liaising with external staff and professionals- Developing your professional skills and knowledge through continuous learning and developmentTo be considered for this role, you will need:- A valid NMC registration as an RMN- A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a community setting- A proven track record of delivering high-quality care to young adults with complex care issues- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care- A flexible and adaptable attitude to work- A willingness to travel within the local area- A full UK driving licence and access to a carThe benefits of working with us include:- A competitive salary of £22 per hour- A supportive and friendly work environmentIf you are interested in this role, please apply online with your CV or give me a call on
