A friendly GP surgery based in the beautiful Kingsbridge area are currently looking for a Practice Nurse with a minimum 2 year post-registration experience to join their team on a salaried permanent basis.You will be working alongside close knit, friendly team of clinical professionals who will make you feel welcome to the practice and provide you with any help and support you may need. The team is made up of 3 excellent highly skilled GPs and a well-established Practice Manager thats been with the centre 5+ years, a Health Care Assistant, a team of Dispensers to assist with prescription management, as well as regular GP trainees and medical students as the Surgery is a recognised Training Practice offering guidance and training opportunities to local students.They are looking for someone with strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills, who are confident in running their own clinics in respiratory care, cervical cytology, wound care, immunisations and vaccinations. As part of this role you will not have to do any home visits as all patients will be seen on site and appointment times will be between 10 to 30 minutes. Of course you must be registered with the NMC and have 2 years post-registration experience. At this point, the centre can only consider candidates with General Practice or Primary Care experience.The surgery is offering a highly competitive salary of £17-£20 per hour depending on skill set and the hours are completely flexible from part time to full time, so you will be able to find a perfect work life balance. One of the reasons for the surgeries outstanding staff retention is due to your salary annually being reviewed as well as good opportunities for progression and CPD. There are internal and external training courses and pathways for you to take full advantage of, the surgery has excellent links to other local centres and educators.
