Finance Assistant - Kingsbridge - £26-32,000 + Performance related bonus + Free lunches!* Please note that this role will be based onsite in a beautiful rural coastal location close to Kingsbridge. As such the successful candidate will require their own transport *Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively re-engaged by a past client, a highly successful prestige hospitality business based in an exceptionally attractive coastal location close to Kingsbridge. The business has tasked us with sourcinga Finance Assistant to join their small and very friendly accounting function. The role is offered as a full time, permanent contract.This will be a wide-ranging and interesting opportunity for an experienced candidate who can add value across all areas of the company’s financial health. Core responsibilities to include:- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of detailed management information and accounts- Play a lead role in all aspects of accounts payable and receivable processing to include supplier payment runs- Working closely with the senior management team, assist in computing and processing weekly and monthly payroll reports- Accruals and prepayments- Maintenance of fixed asset register- Account reconciliations- Generation of customer statements- Assisting with aged debtor management- Assist with month and year end reporting- Other ad-hoc finance duties as requiredFor this role we seek an experienced, enthusiastic and friendly candidate. Suitable applicants will probably, though not essentially be operating to at least AAT level 3/4 though exceptional QBE’s or those that have already commenced professional study willbe happily considered. The business may be in a position to support and mentor a candidate wishing to complete their AAT studies. Applicants from both practice, commercial or not-for-profit environments will also be considered. Good IT aptitude with strongMS Excel and digital accounting experience will be essential.
