Job Title: Quality Manager Shift: Monday - Friday / 40 hours - dayshift Salary: £30,000-£34,000 DOE Location: Kings Ripton, Huntingdon Full Time, PermanentInteraction Recruitment are currently seeking a Quality Manager for their existing client in Kings Ripton (Huntingdon). This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team with a family-feel & to grow with this ever-expanding firm. Key Information about The Role:- You will be reporting to the Technical Manager and be responsible for product quality to ensure it meets the agreed internal and external product requirements prior to release. - Experience with carrying out internal audits for GMP and Glass registers. - Experience with customer facing and regulatory body audits such as BRC, SALSA, FEMAS, RED Tractor, Organic. - Carrying out Micro and nutritional testing as per the testing schedule capturing and analysis of the results such as hand swabbing and machinery swabs. - Working with external lab portal to ensure samples are logged in a timely manner for collection and results are collated and logged on the relevant trackers. - Experience in MS Office especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Visio other IT experience Responsible for maintaining and managing aspects of the Quality Management System. - An understanding of Pest control or a willing ness to learn about the processes and management for the site and food safety. Your ResponsibilitiesKey aspects of the role include:- Undertake Quality and Process checks in line with product targets/tolerance. - Support the technical team during compliance audits. - Undertake internal system/physical audits GMP, Glass registers - Undertake scheduled finished product testing and report results in a timely manner. - Manage and maintain finished product microbiological testing programme reviewing and recording results. - Oversee Tanker Out loading and documentation. - Liaising with Pest control contactor and management of onsite pest control - Environmental ATP swabbing and microbiological testing and recording results - Ensure all compliance and training documentation records are maintained.Skills and ExperienceThis role requires the following technical skills and experience:- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 (Preferred Level 3 or Higher) - HACCP Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) - Train the Trainer or experience of 1-2-1 Group training - Micro testing and analysis of results - Knowledge of QMS & SAQs - Experience in quality control of food storage and manufacturing. - Exposure to Customer and regulatory audits corrective actions for timely closure and Risk Control analysis.This role requires the following personal attributes:- Good eye for detail - Good numeracy and literacy skills - Good communicator - A real team player & ability to work on own initiative - Able to deliver against agreed targets and timescales - Flexible work ethic.
