FANTASTIC NEW OPPORTUNITYSenior Accountant, up to £40,000 p/a DoE, Kings NortonSheridan Maine are delighted to be working with an innovative and growing manufacturing business that is a market leader in its sector. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance function. The Role:Responsible for the day to day accounting function, supervising the finance assistant. Ensuring all accounting records are up to date, managing all general ledger journals, and ensuring month end closing is completed within deadline. Other duties include (butare not limited to):

Supplier payment runs, create payments within bank, issue remittance advice notes to suppliers
Carry out bank reconciliations
Manage the Financial Accounts inbox, reconciling debtors in Accounts Payable
Carry out weekly cash flow forecasting
Maintain Accruals and Prepayments, posting monthly journals

The Person:This company are looking for a hands-on individual with a wide variety of accountancy skills. A proactive nature and a positive attitude is important for this enterprise. They are also looking for:

+1 years of experience dealing with month end processes with prior experience in transactional finance.
Strong computer skills.
Confident communicator who can build strong relationships within the wider business.
