HGV Technician MechanicWe are looking to recruit a talented, efficient, and experienced HGV Technician for one of our most desirable clients.You will be maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers in line with the manufacturers’ specifications and industry standards, running diagnostics on vehicles.Responsibilities of a HGV Technician Mechanic -Perform minor repairs on lorries and trailers-Conduct regular preventative maintenance on truck and trailers-Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop and van-Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs-Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks-Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles-Workshop Control and managing own workloadRequirements for a HGV Technician MechanicIdeally you will have served a recognised apprenticeship as an HGV Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI / IRTEC).Will be familiar with Commercial and HGV / LGV Vehicles & have extensive hands-on experience in a commercial workshop environment.Must have 5 years + experience working as an HGV Technician within a busy workshop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation.Must possess a valid Cat C LicenceTrailer refrigeration training is desirable but not essentialYou will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications.If this role is something that you are well suited to or you are looking for something similar within the Automotive industry, then please contact or email your CV to; Required skills
