Contract: FTC up to 1 yearDepartment: External AffairsHours: Full-time, 35 hours per weekGrade: DA new, exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) to be part of the team running a high-profile new fund as part of the Community Match Challenge Programme.The new £40 million programme is match-funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) and the Covid-19 Support Fund set up by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and delivered by CAF.The programme will address systemic issues in existing civil society infrastructure and the funding eco-system, and will be delivered in 2 stages. These stages represent: immediate financial assistance (October 2020 - March 2021) and longer term resilience (April 2021 - March 2026).The Policy Manager will work with CAFs Grantmaking and Advisory team to support the evolution of the strategy and governance of our new fund (including developing mechanisms for engaging external stakeholders and experts), and will work with CAFs Policy and Campaigns team to ensure that insights from the fund are captured and used to inform wider policy work.You will need to be self-motivated, highly organised and adept at engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
