Job Description

Pay: KR3 Start Date: ASAP We require a 1:1 TeachingAssistant to join our committed and talented staff team. This position is tosupport a Year R child with Sensory and behavioural difficulties. The role isfor 15 hours per week, term time only, paid on Kent Range 3, 9am - 12pm. Mondayto Friday. Experience of working within anyof the following areas would be an advantage:

  • Working alongside the classteacher to prepare resources and lessons that are best suited to the childslevel of ability
  • Working alongside parents andagencies to determine a holistic approach to a childs personalisedcurriculum
  • Knowledge of support in mentalhealth and wellbeing
  • Knowledge of delivering sensoryinput
  • Understanding of the Early YearsCurriculum
  • Understanding of strategies usedwith children with ASD

We havea large extended school hall which can be divided into two by acoustic doors,the smaller of which providing an area for sports activities. Our groundsincorporate a pond dipping area, poly tunnel, woodland walk and more recentlywe have had a Multi Use Games Area built and an all weather running track.
