We achieve this with our highly experienced workforce, with well over 20 years’ experience and the use of quality equipment.Our commitment to quality is evident through our attainment of ISO 9001:2015 Registration within the first year of our company opening for business.Due to the company’s work load we are now seeking a talented CNC Machinist to join the team.CNC Machinist - About the role:As a CNC machinist working at 247 you will be responsible for producing precision components from our clients’ drawings, you will need to program the machine set up all tools, materials and machine parts in a timely manner.Role Responsibilities (not limited to)• Programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery• Manufacturing high-quality parts from customer drawings and cad files• Choosing the correct tooling and manufacturing methods for each job• Minimise setup and run times whilst maintaining a high standard of quality• Maintaining a clean working environment and work in a safe and professional manner• Work to drawings, samples, and instructions to carry out a variety of one-off projects, small batch work, repairs, and reverse engineering.CNC Machinist - Candidate Requirements:You will be experienced in using Mazak Mazatrol systems or Doosan Puma with siemens 840D control and have both turning and milling experience.• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within tool rooms using modern CNC machine tools• Knowledge of Mazak Mazatrol systems or Doosan Puma• Experience using siemens 840D control• Ability to work on your own initiative and to tight deadlines• Have a recognised engineering qualification, an advantage• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required• Able to interpret engineering drawings and work with samples• Attention to quality• High degree of self-motivationIf you want to be part of a strong, busy, expanding company then this could be the role for you.If you have the skills and experience, we require for this role and are looking for a new challenge please click on APPLY and forward your CV to us with a relevant cover letter, explaining why you are a good fit for this role, including your salary expectations.No Agencies please.
