Job DescriptionWere pleased to be supporting a quality manufacturing business based in Newcastle (North Tyneside), with its search for high calibre Manufacturing Operators. Part of a family owned global business, the site on Tyneside has enjoyed success for over 40 yearsand this is set to continue in to 2022, with the appointment of a number of key personnel.The business can offer job security and longevity in the role, as well as continuous training and development. The role will initially commence on a temporary basis, with a permanent contract being offered at 12 weeks, provided both parties are satisfied withthe progress made.Continental shift pattern 6.30 start 12 hour shifts £11.22 per hourWHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLELearning how to operate specialist production-based machineryMonitoring and documenting qualityLoading and loading materialsLearning how to set and operate machineryAbiding by strict H&S standardsAdhering to clearly laid out guidelines and following standard operating proceduresWHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONAbove all else, the business is looking for people with a strong work ethic and the willingness and desire to learn. However, if you have the following skills and experience it would help your application:Experience of working in a manufacturing environmentMachine setting experienceReliability, punctuality, self-motivation and good team workThe ability to follow and adhere to H&S and take work instructionWHATS IN IT FOR YOUThe starting pay grade for the role is £11.22 per hour, rising incrementally as you compete training.Strong training and development will be provided on an ongoing basisYoull be working with a good team of people that respect and support each otherThe business is in growth and can provide job security and longevity for the futureRole is to ideally start on a temporary basis for 12 weeks, with a permanent contract being offered at the end of this period.
