This role is based in North Tyneside.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLEWorking to deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance to high volume manufacturing equipmentMaintaining conveyors, extraction systems, extruders, belt systems and production-based machinery, etc.Electrical fault finding and diagnosticWorking to deliver mechanical maintenanceRecording and documenting maintenance recordsWHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITIONEssential:Experience as a multi-skilled Electrical technician in a high volume-manufacturing environmentEducated to ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualificationMust hold 17th/18th Edition Wiring RegulationsMust be experienced with PLC maintenance and software fault finding.Be proficient with Frequency drives, AC & DC motor and control systems.Skilled working Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Knowledge of Temperature control systems.Ability to work delivering mechanical maintenanceDesirable:Knowledge of HMI devicesBoilers / Steam managementChillersWeight measurement equipment (load cells).Extrusion, Injection Moulding ProcessesPolymers, Powder Mixing / Blending ProcessesSolvent Recovery ProcessesWHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLEThis Electrical Maintenance role is permanent job from day one. The hours centre on a continental shift pattern rotation days and night shift. The hours are 6:30am-6:30pm and 6:30pm-6:30am.
