JustPhysio are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist to work with our client in Newcastle.Band 6 Physiotherapist Neuro Rehab Salary £31,165-£37,890Start ASAP OUR CLIENT IS ABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP IF REQUIRED Come and join the UKs largest provider of complex care.They have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist to join their team at in Newcastle.Our client is an award-winning community neurorehabilitation team providing life-changing rehabilitation for their clients. They are proud to offer bespoke therapy programmes, built per client in a truly integrated way, working innovatively and holisticallywith an interesting mix of adults and children most of whom have sustained a brain or spinal cord injury.They are flexible, so youll work a total of 37.5 hours per week.You will be required too -- Ensure the provision of a high-quality physiotherapy service and its place within the multidisciplinary team- Complete physiotherapy assessments and management of service users maintaining high standards of clinical care- Take a lead role in the development of physiotherapy department policies, guidelines and service developments- Use highly developed physical skills to support patients who have a neurological impairment to maximise independence- Liaise with family, carers and significant others where appropriate to ensure patients needs are met to a high standard- Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and managerial staffYou will be an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist with:- At least 5 years post qualifying experience 3 years of which will be related to neurorehabilitation or complex disability management for adults or children.- An enthusiastic and forward-thinking attitude and a keen interest in evidence-based neurorehabilitation- The desire to develop an area of clinical interest, consolidating your skills in a specific therapeutic area including technology assisted rehabilitationClear and transparent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for junior team members, assistants and students- A flexible, positive attitude, with the ability to take responsibility for autonomous decision making that places the client at the heart of everything you do.- They also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
