In this Commercial Finance Analyst role youll partner with our Sales, Supply Chain and Marketingteams.Youll lead our pricing analysis, review the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns on a quarterly basis, monitor our sales accruals on the balance sheet, scrutinise risks and opportunities to our forecasts and support the selection and monitoring ofstrategic commercial initiatives, facilitating our journey to becoming a cross category force for good. You will also lead our warehouse and distribution insight, analysis and allocations. Working with our supply chain team youll understand upcoming writeoff and stock risks. You will have month-end responsibilities including posting journals and variance analysis.Were a small team so there will be opportunities to rotate responsibilities, gain experience and add value across all aspects of commercial finance here at Pukka.About youTo be our Commercial Finance Analyst, youll have a solid demonstrable financial background and love adding value in the work that you do. Youll have gained experience in a similar role in a fast-paced business where youve liaised face to face with internalor external stakeholders and built strong relationships with your excellent communication skills. Youll be someone who communicates succinctly and can adapt your style to meet the needs of various audiences.Your finance experience will ideally include numerous examples where your analysis has created value in your previous roles, youll be skilled at budgeting, planning, forecasting and management reporting (including variance analysis) and experience in month-endclose process.Youll have the ambition and willingness to learn and a desire to expand your finance skills and clearly demonstrate a real passion for understanding data. A confident and methodical approach to tasks youll have a high attention to detail. Youll be self-motivatedand success oriented, love working in a team whilst able to thrive working and thinking independently. Youll be a quick learner, able to proactively identify and solve potential problems.Brilliant at Excel youll be comfortable using pivot tables, vlookups and sumifs, and interested in developing this skill set into the suite of PowerBI tools. Youll have experience of using finance ERP systems, ideally IFS or similar. Good PowerPoint skillsare needed for preparing. Youll ideally have an interest in, or some technical skills, with SQL and PowerBI but they are not essential.Youll thrive at pace, be comfortable working in a growing and evolving business, and be skilled at turning challenging obstacles into decisive and purposeful action.
