Westcountry Jobs are recruiting a permanent HR Administrator for our client who supply industrial services to the shipbuilding industry.The Salary is commencing at £9.69ph (£18,895K) and will progress to £10.20ph£19,800 after a successful probationary period.ABOUT THE POSITIONYou will be an integral part of the UK & Ireland HR Team, supporting the business to deliver its mission to be the most reliable and efficient provider of technical industrial services. Providing proactive HR Administrative support to Operations and thewider HR team whilst living our clients values of Colleagueship, Result Orientation, Professionalism, Reliability, Respect & Trust.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: The first point of contact for all HR related queries Process weekly starters and leavers in conjunction with the Payroll Department Administer HR-related documentation and general correspondence. Maintain employee E-files accurately. Update sickness records whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. Assist in collation of Employee Liability Information for contract award and loss. Arrange and assist with note taking of disciplinaries. Assist with recruitment inhouse and external suppliers Assist with interviews and issue relevant correspondence in a timely manner. Keeping track of all new starters and probationary review dates Provide support to the wider HR team to ensure efficient delivery of HR Services Assist in security clearance/dockyard pass documentation.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrate professionalism and ability to deal with all levels of staff To be PC literate & create reports & spreadsheets & work with HR systems Excellent communication skills to deal with staff and external clients Ability to escalate issues in a timely manner Ability to remain confidential at all times Full understanding and supporting HR department Basic understanding of Employee Relations and current employment legislation Have experience of meeting targets and deadlines Be proactive and able to work using your own initiative 1+ years in HR administrative roleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £18,895.00 per year
