Job Description

We are looking for a Hospital Administrator to join our team at Cygnet Kewstoke.Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides an emergency admissions servicefor men and a pathway for women from low secure to rehabilitation including a specialist servicefor personality disorder.The hospital has more than 16 acres of landscaped grounds and overlooks the Bristol Channel. This beachside location, just outside Weston-super-Mare, helps us provide a quiet, peaceful and therapeutic environment which can offer service users a broad rangeof therapies including CBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR & DBT.In this role youll have the chance to make a real impact on patients, service users & their families.If youre passionate about what you do, we want to talk to you!Your Day-to-Day...

  • Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
  • Prepare reports & other written materials
  • Keep files & records as required
  • Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly
  • Occasionally taking notes & minutes at meetings when required
  • Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner
What we are looking for is...
  • An experienced administrator used to liaising with customers/clients
  • Organised, naturally helpful and a good multi-tasker
  • Computer literateincluding Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
  • Knowledgeable of telephone systems
  • Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.
  • Although it is a set shift pattern we need flexibility to cover annual leave/sickness/training.
