Job Description

Transactional Team Leader / Permanent / Full Time / £30,000 to £35,000Are you individuals who likes to challenge themselves and loves to manage teamsIf so this role based in Kettering is perfect for you!You will be will be leading a team of Accounts Clerks who take pride in the way they collectivelyapproach problems and are always are willing to learn.This market leading company is looking for someone who is proactive in the way they take on new tasks and has the confidence to be innovative and make long lasting positive changes throughout the finance department.Role Details:

  • £30,000 to £35,000
  • Full-Time
  • Permanent
Daily Duties:
  • Managing the entirety of both the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger including month end close, supplier reconciliations, credit control, bank reconciliations etc.
  • Management of the cashbook, bank revaluations and month end close.
  • Overseeing the fixed asset register and depreciation forecasting.
  • Carrying out group UK VAT returns.
  • Overseeing petty cash and foreign cash advances.
  • Managing a team of transactional accounts clerks and assisting them with any queries or training required.
  • Taking an innovative approach to help improve internal processesfor the transactional finance department.
Requirements:
  • Experience managing a finance team.
  • An innovative mind-set and the ability to proactively challenge yourself.
  • Strong Excel skills including the use of Sumifs, Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
