Job Description

We are partnering with a great business in Kettering during an exciting period of growth. They are on the lookout for an experinced head that can come in, lead the day to day Management Accounts, whilst also taking a pivitol role in commerical analysis, costing and pricing.Senior Management Accountant Responsiblities:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate month end reporting with detailed understanding of variances, to budget, and prior year
  • Working within the finance team to support the Operations departments with high quality analysis and reporting to monitor output
  • Partnering with other department heads by supporting decisions and following up on action plans
  • Responsibility for review of production costing and conducting cost roll updates as required.
  • Identifying and driving process changes in order to improve accuracy of reported data
  • Performing monthly cost centre, profitability and other analysis and comparisons
  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis of the activities as well as forecasting/ budgeting multi-year processes
  • Providing detailed and insightful reporting to the local business managers
  • Assisting with the production of monthly/weekly labour hours and absorption reporting identifying trends
    • Senior Management Accountant Requirements:
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • ACCA/CIMA/AAT or qualififed byexperience
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Strong analytical / investigative skills & excellent reporting abilities
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Have a professional outlook with a good attention to detail
  • Commercially aware and able to fully understand the financial implications
