SEN Teaching Assistant- Kettering - Full time role, working with children who have been through significant trauma - Ideal role for a graduate with aspirations in the mental health sector.LSA role - October 20th 2022, dependent on your own individual context, if suitable. A trial day will take place to ensure this is the right role and school for you - Role is Monday to Friday, £78 per day, £390 per week PAYE. 8:20 to 3:15/4:15 each day,roles duration is through to July 2023 - with the option of then going permanent at the school.Specialist Alternative Provision for Boys, aged 9-16, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Challenges - focus on trauma and restorative practices.Art and Creative Graduates required for this LSA role, you must know your sincerity and reasons for wanting to work in an Autism and Mental Health context. Each student will have an EHCP for their Autism, its understanding the social contexts at play thatwill effect each child in different ways.Can you make the students life just that little bit better today, keep them safe and demonstrate the value of an education to the students In addition, can you keep the children safe You will get a great deal of SEN and safeguarding training, MAPA Trainingincluded.Aspiring Art Therapist Kettering - Education and Training - Aspiring Art Therapist Kettering**9-16, Primary and Secondary aged students all with EHCPs for Students with Social, Emotional and Mental health challenges**Delivering Key and Personal skills to students who will be in varying degrees of engagement, each day can be incredibly different**Excellent use of holistic, artistic skills**Education and Training provided, manual handling included**Physical work combined with being pragmatic, making as much academic progress as each childs context allows** All training and support provided by the school with their excellent training system, there will always be some anti-social behaviour in these contexts.**Number of Therapies introduced and holistic processes, a little progress is a cause for success here**Positive engagement, giving the children a sense of acceptance, talking therapy will not always work here so different approaches required**Giving the students objectives and as much independence as is possible, especially if the students are in assisted learningIt is vital you are sincere about your objectives and know why you want to work in the mental health sector and provide the best possible foundations for vulnerable students who have suffered several traumas and have been tragically let down by the adultworld.
