Job Description

Sales Executive / Client Account Manager who has great negotiating, deal closing and people skills with the ability to upsell additional products and services to an existing client base and re-engage historic clients, converting back tonew customers is required for a market leading company.FULL PRODUCT TRAINING PROVIDEDTo be successful in this role you need a confident and professional telephone manner, great listening skills with the ability to see upselling opportunities within existing client accounts.SALARY: up to £24,000 per annum (Basic Salary) / £28,000 OTELOCATION: Candidates can be based in the Kettering Office (with longer term opportunity to potentially be home based)JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent** Career Progression Opportunities Available **PLEASE NOTE:This is not a customer service led role, it is a proactive customer engagement and selling positionJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Executive / Client Account Managerwho has great negotiating, deal closing and people skills with the ability to upsell additional products and services to an existing client base and re-engage historicclients, converting back to new customers.The company is a leading provider of production line printing technologies. The company was recently subject to a Management Buy-out from its American parent company. As a successful candidate you will support the Managing Director and Customer Service Teamto spearhead and increase sales of its printing inks and servicing contracts to an established customer base, across the UK.Working as the Sales Executive / Client Account Manageryou will be tasked with contacting and engaging with existing and prospective customers to discuss their current services and upsell other suitable products and services that will benefit them, whichmay be over the telephone or through a Microsoft Teams / Zoom presentation.As the Sales Executive / Client Account Manager your role will also encompass preparing and sending contracts for signing and processing daily orders for nominated accounts. You will also answer telephone enquiries relating to customer servicing and consumablerequests, allowing for further upselling opportunities.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAs a Sales Executive / Client Account Manageryou will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience selling products and services, preferably upselling into existing accounts. Any experience selling consumable or high-volume products, with a technical leaning is desirable although not essential
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers over the phone
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office applications and in particular, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Must have good organisational and time-management skills
  • Having an understanding of manufacturing environments along with purchasing processes would be extremely desirable, although this is not essential
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems will also be desirable along with CRM (Zoho bias preferred)
