Job Description

**working for a global automotive manufacturer****Outstanding company culture**Client DetailsWorking for an Innovative and forward-thinking automotive manufacturing business based in Kettering.DescriptionAs the Quality Engineer you will be Responsible for Product Quality and the resolution of Plant Quality issues, both external & internal. This involves liaising with Customers and Supplier representatives and internal departments to ensure timely resolutionof concerns. Your duties will also include:

  • Observing and maintaining quality standards as per work instructions / samples / QMS document control
  • Monitoring & ensuring customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Participating in Quality & Productivity Continuous improvements & the promotion of team problem solving
  • Conduct / involvement in APQP/Control Plan/FMEA/ Calibration / QMS / PPAP, 8D reporting
  • Perform Audit activities in line with company Audit Timing Plan
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 8am -5pm, Friday 8am-2pmProfileThe successful applicant will live withing commutable distance of Kettering but happy to travel to sites across the UK. You will be suitably qualified (automotive sector specific) and have a successful track record in a Quality Engineer position. You willhave good Knowledge and be confident with applications of procedures / business processes, Quality management systems and common Q-methods including 6 Sigma principles, as well as experience in production audits and have good communication skills. Ideallyyou will have IATF or VDA qualifications / knowledgeJob OfferOn offer for the successful Group Quality Engineer
