Our client isseeking a Certification Assessor to work intheirbusy PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Certification Team based in Kettering.As a Certification Assessor you will have extensive customer liaison, providing quotations, commissioning product testing, assessing the customers technical documentation and preparing the final certificates. This requires a good understanding of performance standards for various types of personal protective equipment and the ability to project manage the overall certification activity. There will also be a requirement to occasionally attend external technical meetings. Full training in all areas of the role will be providedThe ideal candidate will have knowledge of the PPE products industry and an understanding of legislation relating to CE and UKCA marking, gained from a manufacturing, test and certification or supply chain distribution environment.A broad technical background is essential for this role Candidates will have attained good GCSE/ A level grades in a range of science based subjects. A BSc or equivalent qualification would be desirable as would experience of working in test laboratories. To be successful in this role you will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an analytical approach, a high level of attention to detail; a good level of computer literacy; and sound planning and organisational ability.
