Are you an experienced and visionary leader in the financial services industry A leading fee-based Chartered Firm of Financial Planners, is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Managing Director Designate. In this pivotal role, you willhave the opportunity to manage the busy and growing financial advisory practice.This IFA firm prides itself on being at the forefront of the industry, providing exceptional services to over 3,500 clients. They operate state-of-the-art systems, including Watermark, Intelliflo Intelligent Office, Financial Express Analytics, and our ownbespoke Platform Technology.Location: NorthamptonshireSalary / Package: £125,000 to £150,000 depending upon experience, Profit growth related bonus, Membership of Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)Role Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations of the businessSupervise and monitor the activity and performance of the Advisory teamCoordinate with heads of Paraplanning, Administration, Compliance, Marketing, and Secretarial teamsReport to the board of directors regarding business targetsOversee HR functions and staff training programsManage lead distribution within the teamWrite client communicationsEnsure all facets of the business function correctly and meet deadlinesCandidate Requirements:Experience in running a contemporary IFA/Financial Services businessStrong people management skillsIdeally a Chartered Financial Planner with a thorough understanding of the current Pensions & Investments landscapeFamiliarity with back-office systems, investment platforms, and cashflow modelling softwareWillingness to undertake training to develop areas of weaknessExperience managing an IFA business or progressing to a senior role within a business
