Job Title: Laboratory Technician Hours of work: Monday to Wednesday, rotating 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm and Saturday, Sunday 8am-4pm or 6am start if preferable. Salary: DOE Job Type: Permanent Interaction Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a client based in Northamptonshire, recruiting for Laboratory technician. The Laboratory Technician position plays an important role in assisting the Company to achieve high standards of quality andfood safety. The role is part of a small, committed team and reports into the Laboratory Team Leader. The main purpose of the role is to perform quality control on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Close working relationships with the Quality Manager, Laboratory Team Leader, other laboratory colleagues and Production functions. Some of your key duties will be to: · Take samples in production area. · Prepare samples in the lab and perform standard analyses. · Process the analysis results (in SAP or Excel, report these results to the QC Manager). · Calibrate all necessary instruments according to fixed methods and procedures. · Maintain order and tidiness in the lab and related areas (including the cleaning of instruments). · Take care of specific quality trainings to production personnel. We are looking for candidates with the following knowledge and experience: · Good laboratory techniques and physio-chemical analyses. · Knowledge of microbiological analyses. · Knowledge of current software (Excel, Word etc.) · Previous experience in a Laboratory environment would be beneficial If you believe to be the right candidate for this role, we would love to hear from you.
