We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our Kettering based client. Key responsibilities for this role include: Working within a small team to provide end user support Supporting and maintaining environments for availability and security Performing troubleshooting and problem-solving, often involving other team members and vendors Configuring monitoring and alerts for business systems Patching of servers and infrastructure General Windows and Linux system administration Developing and implementing automation to increase efficiency The successful candidate will have an organised approach to work, an analytical and creative attitude to solving problems, and have curiosity and enthusiasm to understand and solve IT issues. It is essential that the candidate is passionate about computers and related technology and has a high level of communication and relationship building skills, as well as effective organisational and time management skills. The candidate should be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining performance under pressure, and possess good attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows use in a business environment is a must. It is desirable that the candidate has proficiency with general Linux system administration, a good understanding of the network stack, and automation and provisioning experience. Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, and experience with Hypervisors, ideally VMware vSphere, is also beneficial. Candidates must have GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths and at least one science subject at Grade C or above.
