It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services, as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management.Job DescriptionCulina Group a well-established leader in the logistics market and is now recruiting for an IT Network Analyst to join our high performing team on a full time, permanent basis at our Desborough depot.As a member of Muller Services Limited, reporting to the Culina Group Network Manager, the primary function of the IT Network Team is to design, implement and maintain the network infrastructure & network security across all Culina Group sites throughout the UK.Shift: Monday to FridayMain Responsibilities

  • Managing and supporting the full networking environment to a high technical standard, using predominantly Cisco equipment.
  • Supporting and managing firewalls (Sophos, Cisco & WatchGuard), including Internet Proxies, DMZ control and VPN solutions.
  • Management of Logon & Monitoring systems. (TACACS / SolarWinds)
  • Wireless infrastructure management (Cisco / Ruckus) for warehousing and Offices, including WiFi surveying. (Ekahau)
  • Configuration and support of Cisco VoIP technologies. (CUCM, VGW’s CUCM Express)
  • Vendor Management - Working with 3rd party suppliers and contractors to support the Group’s needs, including installations, escalation and contract renewal / review.
  • Vulnerability Management - keeping up to date with the latest threats to networks, and providing solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Patch / firmware - Maintain up to date software and firmware versions across the networking landscape.
  • Pro-actively seek to improve efficiencies in all operational areas.
  • Working closely with the wider Muller Services Limited domains, to allow network & security inter-operation and to follow global standards.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members.
  • Work alongside other members of the Infrastructure, Networking and Service Desk Team to provide Business as Usual support (BAU), including Out of Hours support where necessary.
  • Utilise Change Management processes to advise & develop technical solutions and deliver them in a timely manner.
  • QualificationsEssential Criteria
  • CCNA and / or CCNP certified.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working within medium to large Networking environments.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware, including Layers 2 & 3 protocols.
  • A motivated self-starter able to work independently, but comfortable working within a team environment.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Willingness to travel at short notice and support disparate technological problems and issues whilst maintaining strong governance and management of circuits.
  • Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, and controllers.
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Network security experience.
  • LAN and WAN experience.
  • Site to Site & Client VPN setup and management.
  • Able to participate in Out of Hours support Rota.
  • Evening and weekend working may be required at times to accommodate business needs.
  • Act as the face of IT providing quality service to end users.
  • Experience:
  • Configuring and maintaining Cisco Routers, Switches and ASA Firewalls, Security Appliances.
  • Configuring and maintaining Sophos, WatchGuard, Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls.
  • Maintaining company wide networks - LAN, WAN & MPLS.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as the SolarWinds suite.
  • Configuring and managing WiFi Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge:
  • Expert knowledge with Cisco CUCM Call Manager
  • Knowledge of tunneling protocols IPSEC, LWAPP, L2TP, GRE.
  • Thorough understanding of the Network protocols from all Layers of the OSI model.
  • In-depth understanding of networking hardening principals & penetration testing.
