It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services, as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management.Job DescriptionCulina Group a well-established leader in the logistics market and is now recruiting for an IT Analyst (Field based) to join our high performing team on a full time, permanent basis at our Desborough depot.As a member of Muller Services Limited, reporting to the Infrastructure Team Leader, you will be a mobile 2nd/3rd line point of contact, via our 4Me Service Desk for IT related support requests and queries. Carrying out a wide and varied array of installations, configurations and generic IT support, with excellent communications skills, self-discipline and self-motivation.Working hours: Monday to FridayMain Responsibilities

  • Working remotely to assist and support the Service Desk, Infrastructure and Networking Teams to deliver best in class support to the Group business units.
  • Installation and management of hardware and software solutions, including Desktop / Server support and networking.
  • System administrative duties.
  • Maintaining an overall understanding of the business systems and applications.
  • Support and maintenance of the Datacentre environments.
  • Follow and maintain technical process documentation and procedures.
  • Maintaining a detailed log of all support calls reported by users, reviewing the log regularly and updating as appropriate.
  • Providing third line technical support, delivering solutions in line with reasonable user expectations.
  • Providing a high level of customer service for any support queries, and be the face of IT to the userbase.
  • Reporting the status and progress of calls back to users on a regular basis.
  • Dealing with faults in order of priority in conjunction with and as directed / scheduled by other members of the wider IT Team.
  • Vendor Management - Reporting faults to third party suppliers and support companies where required.
    • QualificationsKey skills & experience
  • Working knowledge CompTIA Server+ / MCSA preferable but not essential.
  • Worked in similar roles for 2 years, with experience of using 3rd party hosted datacentres.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies - Active Directory, DNS / DHCP Services and Group policies. (Microsoft Server 2008 through to 2019)
  • A solid understanding of network concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP).
  • Experience of managing and maintaining VDI. (Citrix / Microsoft)
  • Working knowledge of SAN storage solutions and technologies. (iSCSI / fibreChannel)
  • Experience working with VMware based hypervisors and management software.
  • An understangding of ITIL processes and change management.
  • Methodical approach to problem diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business.
  • Willingness to learn new technical skills.
